NV Jazz Sessions 24/10: Kristoffer Vejslev & Martin Brunbjerg
Join us at Flere Fugle on September 24th for an intimate evening of jazz with guitarist and composer Kristoffer Vejslev and double bassist Martin Brunbjerg.
The two musicians share a deep musical connection, built through years of playing together in the trio Vejslev/Brunbjerg/Elhøj. For this special duo performance, they will explore lesser-played jazz standards by composers such as Thelonious Monk, Lennie Tristano and Billy Strayhorn, alongside their own compositions.
Expect an evening where Nordic restraint meets playful energy, with lyrical guitar playing, expressive double bass and plenty of room for musical interplay.
